About The Position

Non-tenure track faculty teaching position at the East Liverpool Campus with an opportunity to teach Undergraduate courses in Information Technology, Virtualization, Cloud, Networking, Cybersecurity, and Computer Forensics.

Requirements

  • Earned master's degree or higher in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or closely related field.
  • Recent experience in the IT industry, with specific experience in networking, cloud, virtualization, computer forensics, or cybersecurity.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable manner and provide clear instructions.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in interactions with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
  • Maintain high ethical standards and uphold the values of the institution.
  • Must pass a security check.

Nice To Haves

  • Quality Matters certified or willing to become certified.
  • Evidence of recent professional development.
  • Three (3) years' applied IT industry experience.
  • Prior online teaching or training experience.
  • One or more industry certifications in networking, cloud, virtualization, computer forensics or cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+ or Security+, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CCSP, Server+, Cloud Essentials, Cloud+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps).

Responsibilities

  • Teach five courses in spring and fall semesters, including beginning and advanced courses in Cybersecurity, Computer Forensics, Virtualization, Cloud, and Networking among others.
  • Design and deliver course content effectively.
  • Facilitate discussions.
  • Provide students with feedback and guidance.
  • Professional development in the field to remain current.
  • Participate in person for events on campus.
