About The Position
The Department of Health Policy and Management is seeking an individual for a part-time Lecturer position outside the tenure stream to teach HPM 2275-1000, "Special Studies - Applied Leadership," in the 2026 Fall Term. Candidate must possess a master’s level degree to teach in the MHA and MPH programs and have intimate knowledge of working with Applied Leadership and experience with the latest developments impacting healthcare leadership and the evolving landscape of health policy. Special studies courses are for properly qualified students undertaking advanced study under the guidance of department faculty. The salary to teach the course will adhere to the terms of the previous Pitt Faculty Union CBA of $2,500 per credit. HPM 2275-1000 is a 1-credit course.
