The College of Nursing and Health Care Professions at Grand Canyon University is seeking a full-time Faculty Immersive Simulation Facilitator. This role serves as faculty to ensure excellence in the Immersive Simulation learner experience, supporting clinical simulation educational activities and coordinating with directors to manage equipment and supplies. The facilitator oversees training processes, ensures systems and equipment meet learning outcomes, and participates in scenario design, evaluation, and implementation. They will lead the provision of entire scenario experiences, including facilitation and debriefing, and manage trial, validation, and evaluation processes for curriculum integration. The role involves orienting and directing simulation technicians, actors, volunteers, and faculty, and maintaining standards for operations, design, facilitation, and debriefing in alignment with program policies. Additionally, the facilitator will coordinate with faculty for video annotation and data capture, ensure simulation equipment and supplies are ready, and orient faculty and learners to the capabilities and proper use of simulation equipment. They will manage supplies and equipment, provide technical support for various simulation systems, and manage clinical simulation activities during practice, rehearsal, and research. The role also includes providing feedback to didactic faculty on student progress, attending faculty meetings, and occasionally working evenings and weekends.
