About The Position

Western Kentucky University (WKU) is seeking part-time faculty to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Government/Political Science. The Potter College of Arts & Letters is creating a pool of qualified candidates for day and evening classes at the Elizabethtown/Fort Knox campuses. WKU is a student-centered, applied-research institution committed to providing a transformative academic and social experience and to empowering its campus community. Requirements

• A master's degree in the discipline (or closely related field) is required for teaching undergraduate-level courses.
• A terminal degree is required for teaching graduate-level courses.
• Pre-employment criminal background checks are required by Kentucky state law.

• Prior teaching experience is desirable.
• Experience with online education is desirable.
