About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Family Medicine Faculty Physician to join an employed position within a growing residency program at Ascension Medical Group’s North Ave Clinic (AMG Family Health Center). Requirements

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Wisconsin state medical license, DEA registration, and core GME faculty credentials.
• A deep passion for resident education and a strong commitment to safe, equitable, and patient-centered community care are non-negotiable.
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a core clinical educator and role model, directly supervising family medicine residents and medical students in the outpatient clinic to build a culture of academic excellence.
• Evaluate and treat a diverse urban patient panel at the North Ave Clinic with advanced diagnostic and clinical skills, modeling compassionate and comprehensive full-spectrum family medicine.
• Participate actively in residency curriculum design, clinical rotations, organized medical discussions, and scholarly activities or research to support the program’s academic mission.
• Partner with medical staff and residency leadership to design and implement cost-effective care strategies that directly improve patient safety, access, and clinical outcomes.
• Capture the patient care journey with precision, maintaining high-quality medical records that meet all compliance standards and serve as an educational roadmap for the team.
