About The Position

The Gordon Ford College of Business at Western Kentucky University (WKU) is seeking to build a pool of qualified part-time faculty to teach undergraduate Economics courses. These courses may include Introduction to Economics (ECON 150), Principles of Microeconomics (ECON 202), and Statistics (ECON 206). The positions are available for both online and in-person classes at the main campus, with opportunities for day and evening teaching schedules.

Requirements

• A master's degree in the discipline (or closely related field) is required for teaching undergraduate-level courses.
• Submit a Letter of Interest identifying the area in which you are qualified to teach.
• Submit a Curriculum Vita/Resume.
• Submit Unofficial Transcripts.

Nice To Haves

• A terminal degree is required for teaching graduate-level courses.
• Prior teaching experience is desirable.
• Experience with online education is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Economics, including but not limited to Introduction to Economics (ECON 150), Principles of Microeconomics (ECON 202), and Statistics (ECON 206).
• Teach courses in both online and in-person formats.
• Teach day and evening classes at the main campus location.
