Franklin Pierce University seeks an open-rank faculty member for its hybrid Doctor of Physical Therapy program in Goodyear, Arizona. The full-time, 12-month position reports to the Director of the DPT Program and contributes to educating and preparing future physical therapists. The role includes developing, delivering, and assessing curriculum; advising students; serving the university and profession; engaging with the community; and contributing to scholarship. Faculty may also assist the Clinical Education team and, depending on program needs and expertise, teach laboratory sessions or course modules. The program uses a hybrid model that combines synchronous online learning with in-person intensive labs in Goodyear. Teaching assignments may include foundational and cardiopulmonary content, such as physiology, therapeutic exercise, and cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapy, and will reflect faculty expertise and program needs. The successful candidate will help students apply exercise physiology and clinical reasoning to patient care, including care of medically complex patients when aligned with their expertise. The posting also describes a need for expertise in outpatient neurological care and vestibular conditions; experience managing pediatric conditions is a plus. Faculty are expected to support inclusive excellence and evidence-based educational practice.
