About The Position

Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Center for Developmental Behavioral Health (DBH) is seeking clinically and academically oriented Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists to join our outpatient programs during a period of transformational growth and development. These positions offer clinical, teaching, and/or research opportunities and can be tailored to the interests and skills of promising applicants at all levels of career development. Our outpatient services support children and adolescents with and without neurodevelopmental needs through an interdisciplinary approach that integrates medical and psychotherapeutic interventions with the highest quality of evidence-based care. We are committed to trauma-informed, and family-centered care.

Requirements

  • Board eligible / certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Current or eligible for medical license in the State of Maryland
  • Strong history of relevant clinical and/or academic training and experience
  • Commitment to the care of children, youth, and families with neurodevelopmental disabilities and patient centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Outpatient care for children and adolescents with and without neurodevelopmental conditions
  • Collaboration within an interdisciplinary team
  • Program development and clinical innovation opportunities
