Saint Louis University (SLU), a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, is seeking applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty appointment as an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for the Master's in Occupational Therapy Program. This position, with an anticipated start date of January 2026, will have 50% of its time dedicated to the role of Academic Fieldwork Coordinator. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in an area of expertise, engage in scholarship, and provide service to the Department, College, and/or University. The primary academic fieldwork coordinator responsibilities include collaborating with faculty to ensure the fieldwork program reflects the sequence and scope of curricular content, designing fieldwork experiences that strengthen the ties between didactic and fieldwork education, matching and assigning students to fieldwork placements, advising students on the overall fieldwork (Level I and Level II) process and program, communicating with students and fieldwork educators regarding student progress and performance during fieldwork experiences, and representing the Program at various trainings, meetings, conferences, and clinical site visits. The Master’s in Occupational Therapy Program is housed within the Doisy College of Health Sciences. Faculty have access to classrooms and laboratories with state-of-the-art teaching and research technologies. Fieldwork coordination responsibilities are supported by staff in both the department and Dean’s office for site identification and contract management. The Paul C. Reinert, S.J. Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning provides faculty resources for designing engaging classroom experiences.
