About The Position

The Factory Technician (1st Shift) is an entry level manufacturing position and the foundation for Hadrian’s continued success. The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about aerospace or defense manufacturing with a curiosity for how things are made. In this role you receive thorough on the job training for various stations throughout the factory therefore willingness to learn and follow training procedure is more important than industry experience.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn precision inspection techniques and follow rigid training procedures
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift objects up to 40 pounds unassisted
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with hand tools or pneumatic tools is preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive and transact raw metal; cut to size using an automated bandsaw and basic metrology tools
• Assemble and dis-assemble machine tools, work with pre-setters and ensure the correct angles and measurements
• Use different machines and techniques (laser, epoxy, ink) to serialize machined parts
• Send out parts and manage visual inspection of parts back from outside processing
• Employ manual techniques to perform small modifications on parts so that they fit customer requirements.
