About The Position
Clean Tech is looking for an experienced Factory Maintenance Tech at our recycling facility in Dundee, MI. This is a Direct Hire position that offers paid training and opportunities for advancement. Clean Tech was founded in 1989 to reclaim the plastic in water containers and other post-consumer packaging. Clean Tech’s leaders knew that recycling would extend disposal capacity, save money in disposal costs and conserve natural resources. They saw further growth opportunity in the business’s potential for creating new jobs and providing a reliable, cost-effective resource for the manufacturing industry.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of mechanical maintenance experience in any industry.
- Strong mechanical skills
- Electrical knowledge a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance for machinery & mechanical equipment used in the plastic recycling process to assure uninterrupted & optimal operations
- Execute & continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures
- Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient & correct execution
- Assure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices & procedures
- Receive thorough & ongoing training, with a clear pathway to promotion
