The Factory Maintenance Technician A is responsible for performing all phases of maintenance in a safe and professional manner. This role requires a two-year technical school certificate or degree and a minimum of three years of maintenance experience. The technician must be proficient in at least two of the following areas: Electrical, PLC troubleshooting, CNC machine troubleshooting, Mechanical, Fluid Power, Structural, and Plumbing. A key objective is to help create and maintain a Preventive Maintenance Program to achieve less than 5% equipment downtime per month. The job requires climbing and working at various heights and may involve annual training in Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) if hazardous wastes are managed.
