About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Factory Cleaner / Janitorial Associate to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and help ensure that factory floors, equipment, offices, restrooms, and common areas are kept clean and presentable.
Requirements
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, walking, sweeping, and mopping.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Sweep and mop factory floors and walkways.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling throughout the facility.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
- Clean offices, break rooms, and common areas.
- Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of entrances, hallways, and work areas.
- Follow company safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
- Perform other general cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned.
