About The Position

CompX National is hiring a Utilities / Utility Maintenance Technician for the First Shift. This role involves performing routine preventative maintenance on industrial machines, inspecting equipment, making basic repairs, and general facility upkeep. The technician will also be responsible for specific repairs related to the Continuous Line and Barrel Line, as well as performing preventative maintenance on various machines. Adherence to company safety rules and regulations is essential.

Requirements

Ability to follow detailed oral or written instructions.
Must be a self-starter, punctual and reliable, and a team player.
Experience and proficiency with utility / facility / machine maintenance and/or repair.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventative maintenance on industrial machines to keep them running properly.
Inspect equipment, find problems, and make basic repairs as needed.
Perform general cleaning, painting, and repairs throughout the facility.
Use hand tools and power tools for minor maintenance repairs.
Provide assistance to maintenance staff and other employees when necessary.
Repair and maintain clips for the Continuous Line.
Repair and maintain barrels for the Barrel Line.
Perform preventative maintenance on various types of machines.
Follow all company safety rules and regulations.
Other tasks may be required as needed.
