About The Position
Clean Harbors in San Jose, CA is currently looking for a Facility Technician to join their team! As a Facility Technician I you will perform hands on operations. This is a great opportunity for college students or recent high school grads wanting to gain some work experience.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1+ Years of related experience
- Ability to use computer
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
Nice To Haves
- Fork lift experience preferred (Not Required)
Responsibilities
- Pump liquids from drums into designated tanks using a 2-inch air-operated diaphragm pump
- Consolidate liquids for shipment through the rail spur
- Pull tracking labels and scan them to the appropriate receiving tanks
- Collect samples from drums
- Consolidate sludge safely and efficiently
- Load empty drums into designated trailers
- Operate a forklift; certification will be provided on-site
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and facility requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
