About The Position
The Facility Technician I for Cranston, RI will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This includes bulk liquid transfers of incoming and outbound trucks and railcars of waste shipments, reconciling inventory, general housekeeping, and compliance with waste storage. Shift: 2nd 3pm-11pm Pay: $20 w/$1.75 SD pay added for 2nd shift
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1+ Years of related experience
- Ability to use computer
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
Nice To Haves
- Fork lift experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Load and unload route trucks
- Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center
- Manage inventory order and receiving process
- General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area
- Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner
