About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant working environment. The Facility Technician - Custodian will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, respond to immediate needs, and report any maintenance or safety concerns. The position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently within a large manufacturing setting.

Requirements

Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift.
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
Ability to work throughout a large manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, partitions, and floors.
Maintain cleanliness of cafeterias, breakrooms, and vending areas.
Clean offices, conference rooms, reception areas, hallways, locker rooms, and other common spaces.
Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
Replenish restroom and breakroom supplies, including paper products, soap, and cleaning materials.
Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish surfaces as needed.
Respond promptly to spills and housekeeping needs throughout the facility.
Identify and report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns.
Follow all company safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
