About The Position
The Facility Supervisor works at the Downtown Oshkosh YMCA during evening and weekend hours, helping create a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment for members and guests. The role provides customer service, supervises facility areas, serves as the on-site leader, sets up program areas and equipment, and gives facility tours. Flexible evening and weekend shifts are available.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Creative, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and outgoing, with the ability to think independently.
- Willingness to complete Child Abuse Prevention Training and CPR/First Aid/AED Training within 60 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests, provide excellent customer service, and build relationships.
- Supervise facility areas and uphold safety standards to maintain a safe, friendly environment.
- Serve as the on-site leader during evening and weekend hours and handle situations confidently and professionally.
- Set up program areas and equipment in support of YMCA offerings.
- Provide facility tours and answer questions about programs and spaces.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with members, guests, and staff.
