About The Position

This is an open role, pending contract award. The Project Manager (PM) supports the overall management and execution of projects, ensuring successful delivery in alignment with contractual requirements, particularly federal government contracts. This role coordinates all aspects of project performance, including cost control, submitttsals, logistics, labor oversight, and daily project tasks. The PM works closely with the Project Manager to ensure compliance with statements of work (SOW), contractual obligations, and performance standards while helping maintain project schedules and quality benchmarks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred minimum of 5 years of supervisory facility services experience with increased responsibility and strong supervisory skills.
  • Must have comparable qualifications, subject to KO approval.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office 365, and Skype for Business.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred CBA/Government contracting experience.
  • Experience in Alaska Native Corporations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee activities directly related to the delivery of facility services in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Receive assignments and establish clear timelines, milestones, and performance goals.
  • Apply quality control and oversight principles to ensure service delivery meets contractual standards.
  • Address service delivery challenges, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and performance expectations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including inventory, financial (income/expense), and personnel documentation.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate assigned staff to ensure effective performance and adherence to standards.
  • Prepare and maintain service quality reports and communicate outcomes of quality assurance activities.
  • Coordinate and partner with Human Resources for personnel actions; such as recruitment and onboarding, transfers, reassignments, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels, including arranging substitute coverage as needed.
  • Develop employee schedules and prioritize work assignments to meet operational demands.
  • Ensure compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) terms, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with budget preparation, monitoring, and overall financial management of the project.
  • Coordinate procurement of janitorial supplies and equipment in alignment with project needs.
  • Review, control, and authorize expenditures in accordance with established policies and budget limits.
  • Support development of contract specifications and statements of work (SOW).
  • Promote and maintain a culture of safety, accountability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to improve service delivery and efficiency.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support team and organizational goals.
  • Meets requirements to be listed as a competent person for the contract.
