Facility Service Technician
About The Position
The Facility Services Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all restrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, non-process halls, offices, lunchrooms, common areas, and laundry facilities. This role requires balancing time effectively to follow established procedures for food safety protection, and the ability to change direction based on customer or internal requirements. Any issues that could compromise food or personnel safety must be approved by management before action is taken. In this role, you will help deliver the highest quality product while upholding commitments to animal welfare, food safety, and responsible farming. You will act boldly, embrace continuous improvement, and partner with teammates and customers to deliver wins.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Processing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the front office, breakroom, locker room, and any other common areas
- Clean all restrooms
- Launder, fold, and sort uniforms
- Maintain cleaning supply inventory, as well as processing sanitary needs (gloves, hair nets)
- End-of-day hygiene sweep of the entire processing plant – remove waste and debris
- Comply with all food safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and process efficiencies
- Report any food safety issues to any manager
- Follow all workplace safety procedures per safety training
- Complete all daily sanitation logs
- Put all cleaning supplies and tools away at the end of each shift
- Assist co-workers as needed
- Comply with Food Safety and GMP requirements at all times
