As Americase continues to grow across multiple sites, the Facility Security Supervisor plays a visible, trusted role in protecting our people, property, and operations. This is an opportunity to lead physical security programs for a company that values integrity, sound judgment, and a genuine partnership between Security and Human Resources. The Facility Security Supervisor is responsible for leading physical security operations across Americase's sites. This position conducts and oversees roving security patrols, monitors and maintains security systems and employee safety, and serves as a partner to Human Resources on workplace investigations, employee relations matters, and new employee onboarding. This individual is expected to exercise sound judgment, maintain strict confidentiality, and function as a visible, trusted presence supporting the safety and integrity of all sites within their assigned scope.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of experience in physical security, loss prevention, law enforcement, or a related field, ideally within a manufacturing, military, distribution, or industrial environment.
  • Valid driver's license required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field preferred.
  • security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) preferred.
  • Safety certifications are not required but are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts regular, documented patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas across assigned sites to identify and address security concerns.
  • Monitors and enforces access control procedures, including badge issuance, visitor management, and key/lock protocols.
  • Operates, monitors, and maintains CCTV, alarm, and access control systems; coordinates with and records all vendors visiting the property for repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
  • Responds to security incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies in a timely manner; documents findings and escalates to site and company leadership as appropriate.
  • Partners directly with Human Resources on workplace investigations, including evidence gathering, camera footage review, employee interviews, and preparation of findings and documentation.
  • Supports Human Resources in employee relations matters by providing security-related context, maintaining strict confidentiality, and helping ensure a safe and orderly process for all parties involved.
  • Develops, updates, and enforces physical security policies and procedures, including badge access, visitor protocols, and emergency response plans.
  • Delivers safety training and communicates security protocols to new hire and temporary employees during the onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Supervises, schedules, and provides performance feedback to contract or in-house security officers, where applicable.
  • Travels between assigned sites as needed to conduct security audits, respond to incidents, and ensure consistent security standards across all locations.
  • Supports the development and execution of emergency action plans, evacuation drills, and business continuity procedures.
  • Assists in the delivery of safety training programs and monitors ongoing compliance with safe workplace practices across assigned sites.
  • Identifies facility maintenance needs (e.g., lighting, fencing, doors, locks, camera obstructions) that could impact the security of a site, and coordinates with Facilities and Maintenance for timely resolution.
  • Prepares and submits regular reports on incidents, patrol activity, and security system status to site and company leadership.
  • Maintains accurate, confidential records related to investigations, incidents, and security operations in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
