About The Position

Creek Technologies is seeking an experienced Facility Security Specialist to support security operations within a classified government contracting environment. This position will support the administration and oversight of facility and personnel security requirements, ensure compliance with applicable government security regulations, and coordinate activities necessary to protect classified information, personnel, and facilities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in industrial security, facility security, personnel security, program security, or a related government security environment.
  • Knowledge of DoD security policies, procedures, and classified information protection requirements.
  • Experience supporting personnel clearances, security documentation, access control, briefings, or related security functions.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple security requirements and maintain accurate records in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Must possess or be able to maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI access/eligibility, as required by the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DoD, Air Force, or other federal government security programs.
  • Previous Facility Security Officer (FSO), Assistant FSO, Facility Security Specialist, or Security Manager experience.
  • Familiarity with industrial security and classified facility requirements.
  • Experience supporting SCI and/or Special Access Program environments.
  • Security-related certifications or formal DoD security training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support and administer facility, personnel, and industrial security programs and procedures.
  • Process and coordinate personnel security clearances, access requirements, visit requests, and security documentation.
  • Conduct employee security briefings, debriefings, and other required security awareness activities.
  • Maintain security records, files, and documentation in accordance with government and company requirements.
  • Support compliance with applicable DoD and federal security regulations and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with government security representatives, program leadership, employees, and other stakeholders on security matters.
  • Support security self-inspections, audits, assessments, and corrective actions.
  • Monitor classified access requirements and ensure personnel maintain appropriate eligibility and need-to-know.
  • Identify potential security concerns and recommend appropriate corrective actions or process improvements.
  • Support Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security requirements, as applicable.
