Requirements

  • Ability to obtain Department of Defense Confidential clearance.
  • Thorough working knowledge of 32 CFR 117 (NISPOM Rule).
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and conflicting customer requirements.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently, customer service orientated.
  • Commitment to security.
  • Ability to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations.
  • Strong understanding of Physical Security requirements to include collateral Open Storage Areas.
  • Working knowledge of SF-86, SF-312, DD-254’s, and other required forms.
  • Thorough understanding of security databases such as DISS, eAPP, NISS, and NBIS.
  • Experience building or operating an insider threat program.
  • Experience in creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post.
  • Experience with foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate.
  • Ability to develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program.
  • Assist in executing the requirements outlined in the Technology Control Plan (TCP) for foreign visitors and other FOCI mitigation documents.
  • Communicates with parties within and outside of own area, which may include external constituents depending upon the area. Requires the ability to provide guidance to other organizations on policies, practices, and procedures.
  • BA degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master's with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. May consider additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Industrial Security Professional (ISP) Certification or CDSE certifications, such as Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) or Industrial Security Oversight Certification (ISOC).
  • Courier preparation procedures.
  • Experience developing and implementing OPSEC plans.
  • Knowledge of Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems.
  • Experience conducting Security incident inquiries.
