You will serve as a key point of contact for customers while ensuring accurate order processing, inventory tracking, and administrative support. Your work helps maintain a smooth flow of communication and operations within the facility, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and overall business efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of office clerical or administrative experience.
  • High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent required.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact effectively with the public.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of grain pricing and customer options is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls and visitors, responding to routine inquiries.
  • Monitor and update delivery schedules daily and share reports on outstanding loads with key stakeholders.
  • Process customer and operations orders, complete documentation, receive payments, and coordinate with operations for fulfillment.
  • Maintain office records, including transaction files and employee documentation.
  • Prepare and format reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other business documents.
  • Track inventory through weekly stock reports and spot checks to ensure accuracy.
  • Compile and report on inventory data, including stock levels, sales activity, pricing, and shipments.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, order office supplies, and support general office organization.
