About The Position

A Facility Operator/Laborer for KT Enterprises will work a 12-hour, rotating of 14 days on, 7 days off, rotating days and nights each 14 day period. They will show up to the processing facility and report to their lead operator for the day and begin daily tasks. These tasks will involve but are not limited to; assisting trucks through offload procedures, conducting routine maintenance and repairs, operating processing equipment, conducting fluid transfers and testing slurry parameters. Career progression is as follows: Laborer-> Facility Operator I -> Facility Operator II -> Facility Operator III -> Lead Operator. Employees with a CDL will have that designation added to their titles (i.e. Facility Operator II / CDL Driver).

Requirements

  • Able to communicate effectively with others.
  • Able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long work days, and/or irregular work hours, be on-call with short notice and exposed to extreme weather conditions.
  • Sound organization and time management skills.
  • Maintains effective working relationship with other employees.
  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent education.
  • 1+ years of oilfield related experience.
  • Applicants must possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • The incumbent must wear a respirator when required.
  • Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination sufficient to operate industrial machinery are required.
  • This job also requires full range of body motion to include handling and lifting.
  • The incumbent must repeatedly lift and/or move up to 65 (SIXTY-FIVE) pounds unassisted.
  • Visual acuity, hearing, speaking, reading, and writing must be adequate to perform all required tasks in a safe manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of oilfield practices and procedures a plus.
  • A motor vehicle record that meets fleet insurance requirements preferred.
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel id preferred and general knowledge of safety reporting and JSA's.

Responsibilities

  • Operate plant equipment safely while performing processes directed by the Lead Facility Operator.
  • Responsible for truck unloading and tanker washouts of supervacs & vac trucks
  • Supporting Lead Facility Operator in daily pressure pumping operations.
  • Inspect, monitor, and maintain plant equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform general cleaning duties daily.
  • Be willing and able to learn the plant processes and associated paperwork.
