About The Position

The Facility Operations Supervisor supports the daily operation of TM Performance Training at TM Fieldhouse and helps ensure the facility provides a professional, safe, organized, and high-quality experience for members, athletes, teams, coaches, renters, and guests. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for facility oversight, staff supervision, customer service, programming support, and execution of daily operational standards. The Facility Operations Supervisor serves as a Manager on Duty during assigned shifts and is expected to make sound operational decisions when the Facility & Programming Manager is not on site. Because evenings and weekends represent key operating and programming periods for the facility, regular evening and weekend availability is an essential requirement of this position.

Requirements

Previous experience in facility operations, recreation, athletics, sports programming, or a similar environment.
Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to confidently lead employees and enforce facility policies.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions while serving as Manager on Duty.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple activities occurring simultaneously.
Basic computer and technology proficiency.
Evening availability is required.
Weekend availability is required.
Availability during high-volume programming and event periods is required.
Ability to remain standing and moving throughout extended portions of a shift.
Ability to regularly walk throughout a large sports facility.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or move equipment and supplies associated with facility operations.
Ability to assist with setup and breakdown of facility equipment, tables, chairs, sports equipment, and event materials.
Ability to work in an active indoor sports environment.
Successful completion of professional reference checks and criminal background screening.

Responsibilities

Serve as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts.
Oversee daily facility operations and ensure all areas are operating safely and efficiently.
Complete opening, closing, and Manager on Duty procedures as assigned.
Monitor courts, training areas, common spaces, and other facility areas throughout the shift.
Ensure facility rules, rental policies, membership policies, and safety standards are consistently enforced.
Address maintenance, cleanliness, equipment, and facility concerns promptly.
Assist with facility setup and breakdown for programming, rentals, events, camps, clinics, and other activities.
Communicate operational issues and incidents to the Facility & Programming Manager.
Provide shift-level leadership and direction to front-line team members.
Assign responsibilities and ensure required shift tasks are completed.
Reinforce customer service, cleanliness, safety, and operational expectations.
Assist with training and onboarding new employees.
Provide coaching and immediate feedback when performance or service standards are not being met.
Escalate significant employee or performance concerns to the Facility & Programming Manager.
Support the execution of TM Performance programming, camps, clinics, events, and member sales/activities.
Assist coaches, instructors, teams, and renters with facility needs.
Verify scheduled spaces are properly prepared and available.
Help manage transitions between rentals, programs, member use, and events.
Monitor programming and rental activity to ensure participants follow facility policies.
Assist the Facility & Programming Manager with program logistics and implementation as needed.
Provide a welcoming, professional, and solutions-oriented experience for all members and guests.
Assist with questions regarding memberships, programs, rentals, facility access, and policies.
Professionally address customer concerns and resolve issues within the authority of the position.
Support membership retention by building positive relationships with athletes, families, coaches, and members.
Identify opportunities to educate guests about TM Performance memberships, programs, training, and services.
Maintain awareness of activity throughout the facility and proactively address unsafe behavior.
Respond appropriately to injuries, incidents, emergencies, and facility concerns.
Complete incident reports and required documentation accurately and promptly.
Follow and enforce emergency procedures and established safety protocols.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee, member, or business information.
