About The Position

The Facility Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily facility operations, coordinating vendors and contractors, managing facility improvement projects, supporting workplace services, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This position serves as the primary liaison between customer leadership, occupants, contractors, and PHD Services while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive workplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-7+ years of facility management, property management, project management, or operations experience.
  • Experience managing contractors and multiple vendors.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily facility operations and building support activities.
  • Monitor overall building conditions and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Respond to facility-related issues and service requests.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections.
  • Support workplace initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Maintain excellent customer service with building occupants.
  • Coordinate office remodels and workspace improvements.
  • Oversee furniture installations and office relocations.
  • Develop project schedules and timelines.
  • Track project budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Provide regular project status updates to leadership.
  • Coordinate contract access and scheduling.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Review scopes of work and project execution.
  • Monitor contractor performance and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements.
  • Resolve issues impacting project schedules or quality.
  • Coordinate employee office moves and relocations.
  • Assist with space planning and occupancy management.
  • Support workstation installations and reconfigurations.
  • Coordinate furniture moves and workplace readiness.
  • Ensure workspaces are prepared for new employees.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and building repairs.
  • Dispatch vendors and monitor service completion.
  • Verify completed work meets quality expectations.
  • Track preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Assist with operational issue resolution.
