About The Position

The Facilities Manager is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction and ensuring delivery of quality services while achieving set goals for revenue and profitability through effective management and coordination of teams, equipment, vendors, and facility resources. Success involves delivering on contract promises, increasing service effectiveness and efficiency through ISS standards, concepts, innovation, and best practices. This role also requires successful delivery of prioritized projects and programs, understanding business needs, and deploying relevant projects following global/local standards with full ownership. The Facilities Manager is expected to develop their own skill base, embrace development opportunities, and ensure continued self-improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of facilities management experience, ideally in a supervisory role.
  • Strong computer proficiency skills with emphasis on knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Project, Power Point).
  • Excellent time management skills; able to organize and work independently.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required for this role (depending on account).
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods.
  • Adherence to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management or related field preferred.
  • Strong supervisory background desirable not required.
  • Good customer service experience.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding upcoming priorities and linking project delivery to the needs of the business in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deployment of relevant projects following the global/local standards while having complete ownership of project roll out and completion.
  • Develop own skill base in line with agreed appraisal, taking responsibility for increased performance, and ensuring continued self-improvement.
  • Participate and embrace the development opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues within the Business Unit and across the company so that information is disseminated effectively and participate in project groups and meetings as required.

  • Responsibility for innovation at account including deploying own resources in relevant Corporate Garage activities.
  • PMO responsibility ensuring delivery on time, budget and quality of prioritized projects and programs on the account.
  • Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to identify and roll-out project support.
  • Engage in a wide network of Account Excellence Managers to ensure steady flow of best practice sharing.
  • Conducts periodic internal review to ensure that compliance procedures are followed.
  • Increase customer loyalty and satisfaction through service excellence.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Follow safety protocols, maintain environmental responsibility, and uphold quality standards in all tasks.
  • Actively participate in HSEQ training and report any potential hazards or compliance concerns.
