Requirements

5 years’ operations, heavy industrial or manufacturing experience with demonstrated leadership ability and understanding of business management concepts required.
2 years of experience leading a team of production teammates
Effective communication skills with people at all levels of employees within the organization.
Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening, which includes both urine and hair follicle testing.

Responsibilities

Leads teams and directs day-to-day operations with a focus on maximizing production and profitability.

Reads, interprets, and enforces complex regulations across safety compliance, environmental standards, scrap purchasing, employee relations, and operational best practices.
Selects, develops, and gets the best out of people from all walks of life to execute company objectives.
Keeps the facility running at peak efficiency by staying ahead of operational bottlenecks and equipment reliability issues.
Understands the bottom line — reads financial statements and knows how day-to-day decisions impact the operation's results.
