Requirements

  • 5 years’ operations, heavy industrial or manufacturing experience with demonstrated leadership ability and understanding of business management concepts required.
  • 2 years of experience leading a team of production teammates
  • Effective communication skills with people at all levels of employees within the organization.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
  • Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening, which includes both urine and hair follicle testing.

Responsibilities

  • Leads teams and directs day-to-day operations with a focus on maximizing production and profitability.
  • Drives change with confidence — understands that continuous improvement isn't optional, it's how we operate.
  • Reads, interprets, and enforces complex regulations across safety compliance, environmental standards, scrap purchasing, employee relations, and operational best practices.
  • Selects, develops, and gets the best out of people from all walks of life to execute company objectives.
  • Keeps the facility running at peak efficiency by staying ahead of operational bottlenecks and equipment reliability issues.
  • Understands the bottom line — reads financial statements and knows how day-to-day decisions impact the operation's results.
