About The Position

Glacier Federal, LLC is a government consulting and contracting firm supporting missions throughout the world. Glacier Federal is seeking a Facility Management Trainer Specialist to provide facility management support to the 502nd Civil Engineer Group at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Texas. This role plans, coordinates, and delivers facility manager training; supports assigned projects; and develops the documentation and technical resources needed to meet client and program requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Experience developing and delivering facility management training, including evaluating materials and implementing process improvements.
  • Knowledge of principles, concepts, and practices related to complex facility and equipment requirements, including safety and security practices for government facilities.
  • Hands-on experience using cloud-based video technology for training delivery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Ability to successfully pass a federal agency background investigation.
  • Self-motivated, outgoing, and able to work effectively with limited supervision while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate facility manager training sessions for users and junior staff across JBSA locations.
  • Review existing training materials, identify process improvements, and develop or update curricula, procedures, technical manuals, and training resources.
  • Support the planning, scheduling, execution, and tracking of assigned tasks and projects in coordination with the Program Manager, Project Manager, Onsite Supervisor, and client.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, schedules, database updates, procedures, and other required project deliverables.
  • Review documents for technical adequacy and provide facility management expertise to assigned tasks and projects.
  • Ensure work complies with client site, program, safety, security, budget, and schedule requirements.
  • Conduct assigned research or field work and attend, organize, or facilitate meetings as requested by the client.
  • Maintain clear, ongoing communication with program leadership and clients; perform other duties as assigned.
  • Some travel and field work may be required.
