About The Position

As a Facilities Coordinator, you will provide essential operational support and meticulous organization, ensuring the smooth functioning and optimal maintenance of our facilities. Every day, you will expertly manage work orders, coordinate with vendors and maintenance staff, track inventory, and meticulously maintain records, contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive, problem-solving demeanor, contributing to uninterrupted operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field, or relevant work experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years of experience in administrative and operational duties in facilities management/construction, or equivalent level of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Performs facility management operations, purchasing, and requisition duties in the enterprise materials management/invoicing electronic system.
  • Performs contracting duties to ensure all vendors and contractors have signed CommonSpirit contract terms and conditions.
  • Follows all policies related to independent contractors, conflict of interest, and vendor management.
  • Facilitates incoming service calls and enters work orders in the building/facility management work order software system.
  • Performs project management/supervisory duties of contractor/vendor site visits, tracks and communicates schedule milestones.
  • Performs quality assurance reviews of water safety plan implementation, daily temperature, and humidity rates to ensure regulatory compliance and asset tagging in the building/facility management software system.
