About The Position
The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the facility, grounds, and building systems to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- Basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repair skills.
- Ability to maintain exterior grounds including mowing, trimming, landscaping, litter removal, and snow removal for multiple sites.
- Ability to respond to maintenance work orders.
- Ability to maintain maintenance records and complete documentation accurately.
- Ability to keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Ability to coordinate with outside contractors and service providers as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of building systems, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities on facility equipment, building systems, and grounds.
- Repair and maintain doors, windows, lighting, walls, flooring, and other building components.
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
- Maintain exterior grounds including mowing, trimming, landscaping, litter removal, and snow removal for multiple sites.
- Respond to maintenance work orders
- Maintain maintenance records and complete documentation accurately.
- Keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime, weekends, and respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
