Under the general supervision and guidance of LJ Inc.'s Division Manager, Facility Maintenance performs a variety of duties related to the day-to-day operations of LJ Inc., including but not limited to completing maintenance tasks to preserve the quality of the facility and property. Must possess mechanical and electrical aptitude, leadership skills, and work effectively in a team setting. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. The goal is to enhance, safeguard, and adapt the efficiency of the company's service operations to foster long-term success.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 Years facility maintenance experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in varying conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

  • Valid chauffer's driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Check fuel pumps.
  • Set up annual fire inspections.
  • Remove snow from sidewalks using snow blower, broom, or shovel and salt walkways when necessary.
  • Changing lights and/or fixtures as needed.
  • Cleans, maintains, and repairs building fixtures and equipment, including locks, windows, doors, screens, blinds, gutters, drains, etc.
  • Prepares work orders after finishing each job.
  • Occasionally operate automotive equipment and haul material.
  • Concrete and asphalt paving inspections.
  • Ensure all the electrical appliances are functioning properly.
  • Regularly check and maintain the ventilators and thermostat.
  • Grounds and security maintenance (fencing, gate arms, and gates).
  • Complete all required daily/weekly/monthly documentation in a timely manner.
  • Other maintenance duties as assigned.
