About The Position

Flexjet is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join us as a Facility Coordinator in our state-of-the-art facility in Cleveland, Ohio. Our Facility Coordinator will work closely with our Director of Facilities to support all activities, repairs, and act as a liaison with third party vendors. This position plays an important role at our facility and ensures a high level of service to all internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 1-3 years of facility management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Solid mechanical knowledge and tool familiarization
  • Comfortable on ladders, rooftops and man lifts
  • Basic computer skills for work order systems
  • Must maintain a valid driver�s license and good driving record
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal/written, and presentation skills are necessary to perform job at the expected level
  • Successful candidates must be able to respond calmly and handle many customers� demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess passionate attention to detail and the ability to work in a team atmosphere with a positive attitude.
  • Willing to develop, value and maintain positive relationships with fellow employees, vendors, shareholders and contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as an interface with employees, clients, visitors and guests.
  • Acts collaboratively to solve problems and resolve spontaneous and unique situations with professionalism.
  • Ensures delivery of committed services and overall satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot and perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, boilers, rooftop units, electrical panels.
  • Maintain lighting, change outlets and monitor low voltage systems.
  • Handle plumbing leaks, fixtures, drains and water heaters.
  • Perform special projects & building repairs that include framing walls, drywall, paint, carpet, ceiling tile, door hardware, minor electrical, minor plumbing and minor HVAC repairs.
  • Perform light bulb changes, ceiling tile replacement, and assist with roof leaks
  • Assist the management team by communicating the need for extensive repairs
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using machinery
  • Demonstrate leadership, responsiveness and creativity in finding solutions for service delivery, all within the approved facility budget.
  • Resolves issues associated with all building services including, but not limited to parking, vending, conference rooms, interior and exterior furnishings, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Assists with receiving and dispatching work orders, including updating and closing out work requests in a timely manner.
  • This task also includes acting as an escort for vendors.
  • Ensures appropriate follow up with vendors, both clearly and professionally, verbally, or via email and through appropriate work order system.
  • Keep detailed logs, order parts and work with vendors as needed.
  • Assist with facility inspections that may include escorting vendors and local city life safety departments.
  • Provides direction or information to vendors, facilities staff, and service providers, to ensure excellent coordination and execution of work within client environment with minimal disruption.
  • Provides coordination and/or support for meetings and conference rooms, as needed and directed.
  • Greet incoming vendors and ensure they are directed to where they need to go and who they are meeting with in a friendly manner.
  • Perform other tasks as needed.
