About The Position
The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine repair and maintenance tasks in facilities, buildings, and equipment. This role also handles shipping and receiving duties, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate and documented properly. The position requires the ability to follow directions, transact in an ERP system, and assist in the day-to-day operations of the facility and yard.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow directions accurately.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift or move heavy objects, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Experience operating a forklift and sky track.
- Proficient in using ERP systems for shipping and maintenance documentation.
- Strong attention to detail in verifying shipments and entering data.
- Capable of working under general supervision, handling responsibilities with minimal oversight.
- Ability to assist with various facility and yard upkeep tasks to ensure a tidy and functional workspace.

- Experience in both facility maintenance and shipping/receiving.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine work in the repair and general maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment.
- Ensure work areas are clean and address maintenance-related incidents such as spills.
- Record all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Handle moderately complex issues and problems independently, referring more complex issues to management.
- Utilize oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and management.
- Transact maintenance, shipping, and receiving activities within the ERP system.
- Enter shipping documentation, such as Bills of Lading (BOLs), into the ERP system.
- Load and unload trucks and verify all incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
- Check equipment in from the rig and follow established procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized facility and yard.
- Operate a forklift and sky track as needed.
- Assist shop technicians with various tasks when available.
