This role supports preventive maintenance, equipment installation, repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain optimal operational performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Knowledge of equipment safety standards.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a diverse environment.
  • Professional, tactful, and diplomatic interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills required.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and post‑offer testing.

Nice To Haves

  • College/University education or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Millwright experience is an asset.
  • Forklift license preferred.
  • Basic understanding of pneumatics is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure daily functionality and upkeep of assigned facility areas.
  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical equipment.
  • Identify equipment irregularities, perform repairs, and replace defective parts.
  • Verify proper operation of safety devices after all repairs or installations.
  • Support and facilitate the preventive maintenance (PM) program.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation.
  • Conduct routine cleaning, lubrication, and equipment care.
  • Follow all workplace safety standards and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
  • Participate in required training programs.
  • Meet KPIs, including zero lost‑time incidents, budget adherence, customer satisfaction, 5S compliance, and maintenance cost‑effectiveness.
  • Complete improvement opportunities identified by team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
