About The Position

As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a key member of the Operations team, ensuring the warehouse and all supporting systems remain operational and safe. This position requires a hands-on individual with warehouse facility maintenance. You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of facility maintenance, including material handling equipment, building systems, preventative maintenance programs, and emergency response activities. Success in this role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence. This role reports to the RFC Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse, industrial, or facility maintenance.
  • Ability to operate electric pallet jacks, forklift, and other warehouse equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience troubleshooting and repairing: Electrical systems, Mechanical systems, Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems, Material handling equipment.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment and facility systems to maximize operational performance and equipment reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment, including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, hand jacks, battery charging systems, conveyors, and related warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain and repair company-owned vehicles and facility support equipment as assigned.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical failures.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records and repair histories for all equipment and assets.
  • Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades.
  • Perform general building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, fabrication, painting, and minor construction projects.
  • Repair facility damage and address building deficiencies to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
  • Execute preventative maintenance schedules for all facility and warehouse equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment failures or facility issues.
  • Recommend repairs, replacements, or upgrades based on equipment condition and operational needs.
  • Maintain compliance with all OSHA, company safety policies, and operational procedures.
  • Assist with lockout/tagout procedures and ensure safe work practices are followed.
