About The Position

Fitzgerald Auto Mall is seeking a full-time Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on individual who takes pride in keeping a facility safe, organized, and operating at its best. This position is responsible for a variety of general building, property, and equipment maintenance needs. Automotive experience is not required.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, construction, property maintenance, or a related field preferred
Strong general handyman and mechanical skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Ability to successfully complete a background check
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. and perform the physical duties associated with facility maintenance
Dependable, organized, and willing to respond to changing facility needs
No automotive repair experience required
Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the US.
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Perform light HVAC repairs and routine filter maintenance
Maintain dealership buildings and grounds
Perform parking lot maintenance, including pavement and parking-space marking
Complete minor plumbing and drain repairs
Perform general building repairs and preventative maintenance
Identify facility issues and assist with repairs before they become larger problems
Maintain workshop, maintenance, and storage areas in a clean and organized condition
Assist with snow removal, salting, and other winter weather responsibilities
Perform other general facility maintenance duties as needed
