The Facility Maintenance Team Member will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the facility's building and grounds. Position will be geared toward working in various areas throughout the facility, while providing participants, members and/or guests an excellent experience while adhering to our Guest First Policy.

Requirements

  • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance necessary
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent guest service skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and able to safely operate power equipment and utility vehicles

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience in facility maintenance, custodial services, groundskeeping, venue operations, or similar hands-on work preferred
  • Experience safely operating pressure washers, floor care equipment, hand tools, and other maintenance equipment strongly preferred
  • Experience working in a sports, recreation, or public venue environment is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Maintain courts, office, and equipment as required
  • Monitor for spills throughout the facility and clean as needed
  • Clean all floor surfaces and glass in facility
  • Clean, restock, and maintain all bathrooms: toilets, sinks, floors, etc.
  • Clean all guest seating and lobby area
  • Facility trash removal
  • Assist other departments as necessary
  • Complete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by management
  • Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests with answers and directions as needed
  • Have general knowledge regarding program options and facility events
  • Be responsive to guest concerns and direct to appropriate Manager to resolve
  • Additional tasks assigned by management
