About The Position

The Facility Maintenance Specialist will oversee and provide safe, effective, timely maintenance in order to meet daily production needs and goals. They will ensure the facility maintenance is conducted according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules and supervise facility maintenance team members and support departments to complete maintenance requests.

High School Diploma/G.E.D Required
4 Years of Direct Experience in Facility Maintenance and/or Multiple Industry Trades Required
1 - 3 Years of Supervisory Experience Required
Valid Driver's License with Good Driving Record Required

Associates Degree Preferred
6 Years of Direct Experience in Facility Maintenance and/or Multiple Industry Trades Preferred
2 Years of Indirect Experience Required
4 Years of Indirect Experience Preferred
4 - 7 Years of Supervisory Experience Preferred
HVAC / Electrical / PLC / Plumbing Training Preferred
Accredited Technical College Certification Preferred

Responsibilities

Effectively oversee and lead facility maintenance team members
Monitor the status of maintenance tasks, track completion, and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
Create and implement maintenance schedules to ensure minimal disruption to operations while maximizing equipment uptime
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and potential improvement
Respond to emergency maintenance requests, as needed
Tracks and manages West Point VPC work order software
Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the team's cohesiveness and productivity
Assist in contacting vendors for general repairs
Assist in developing more effective maintenance procedures
Develop / maintain good working relationships with other departments
Train facility maintenance team members
Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition
Implement workplace safety policies and standards
Performs other duties as assigned
