We are looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Specialist to join our team. Requirements

  • High school diploma with 5+ years in a maintenance role and 3+ years in a laboratory or industrial facility
  • Intermediate knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, air handling units, boilers, chillers, hydraulics, pneumatics, and generators
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experienced with hand tools, power tools, and forklift operation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, bend, and crawl
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree or applicable trade certifications with 7+ years in maintenance and 5+ years in a laboratory or industrial facility
  • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and CMMS design
  • Familiarity with industrial facility regulations and emergency management best practices
  • Proven ability to manage contractors for repair and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous operation of all facility systems through routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and proactive vendor management
  • Monitor and adjust systems using the Building Automation System (BAS), identifying and resolving issues as they arise
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of parts, equipment, and supplies to support ongoing repairs and operations
  • Maintain and expand the site's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for vendor coordination and purchase order management
  • Leverage productivity tools to document work orders, track maintenance history, and communicate updates across teams
  • Adhere strictly to all Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
  • Adhere strictly to all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Management System requirements
  • Collaborate with the Site Leader and EHS Manager to ensure ongoing safety and environmental compliance
  • Serve as an active member of the Fire Response Team and Site Emergency Management Team
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support laboratory and facility needs
  • Complete additional tasks and special projects as assigned
