About The Position

Clean Harbors Kimball, NE NEW Incineration units are seeking a Facility Maintenance Repair Technician who is responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repairs at the facility industrial processing equipment. We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual with an excellent commitment to health & safety to join our team in Kimball. This is a 100% Onsite position with no remote work. The role involves working 4-12 hour shifts per week on a 5-week rotation, with one week of nights and the other four weeks on days. One of those weeks involves working four 10-hour days. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Hydraulic system repair experience
Compressor, conveyors and other industrial processing equipment
Heavy equipment repair experience
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to use a cutting rig- welding
Proficient with computers and systems
Knowledge of the industry's latest technology or having experience working with electronics

DOT Training
Ability to perform multiple tasks
Lifting up to 50 lbs. from the ground to your waste
Climb up and down vertical ladders
Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force
20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical
10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit-ups (to determine if fit)
Good hand/eye coordination
Valid Driver's License
Punctuality and attendance
Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)
Background check, drug screen and physical

Nice To Haves

Industrial maintenance experience preferred! Willing to train maintenance experience from the following industries: oil/gas, railroad, wind turbine and military.

Responsibilities

Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
Industrial maintenance experience; conveyors, compressors hydraulic system, kiln, boilers, electrical, welding
Disassemble/Reassemble facility equipment to examine or repair
Fabricate metal pieces and replace gaskets as needed
Determine cause of malfunctioning systems and perform repair or replacement of defective component(s)
Monitor equipment to ensure all repairs and testing are completed to insure proper operation
Other duties as assigned
