About The Position

The Facility Maintenance Attendant is responsible for cleaning the buildings and grounds to maintain an appealing environment for employees and customers. This role also involves identifying necessary repairs and maintenance needed on buildings and real estate. The position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Previous facility maintenance and/or janitorial experience
Valid Driver’s License
Basic computer skills to utilize timekeeping system
Ability to understand and follow instructions
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel
Regular and predictable attendance
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to climb ladders
Frequent use of cleaning and maintenance tools
Ability to read and comprehend instructions
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
Ability to deal with standardized situations

Responsibilities

Completes general building maintenance
Dusts, vacuums and mops building interior services
Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms
Cleans sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms
Restocks supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas
Cleans windowsills and windows
Empties all trash cans and replaces liners, cleans receptacles as necessary
Disposes of recyclable material in appropriate bin
Identifies necessary repairs and maintenance and reports to General Manager
Maintains CSI at or above company standards
Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
Participates in required training
Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
Follows Safeguards rules and regulations
Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
Complies with Company policies and procedures
Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties
Other duties as assigned
