About The Position
Transportation and Parking maintains ten parking decks with approximately 8,200 parking spaces and an additional 14,300 spaces in surface parking lots located throughout campus. This position performs daily inspections, maintenance and minor repairs in UNC parking facilities to maintain clean and safe access for students, staff, and visitors. This position is required to respond to adverse weather that includes snow removal from parking decks and pedestrian pathways. This position maintains parking equipment, lighting systems, power cleaning equipment and yearly pavement marking and lot striping.
Requirements
- Ability to respond to adverse weather conditions, including snow removal.
- Experience maintaining parking equipment.
- Experience maintaining lighting systems.
- Experience maintaining power cleaning equipment.
- Experience with pavement marking and lot striping.
