About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Facility Drivers for their newest Detox and Residential treatment facility in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves monitoring the transportation schedule, safely transporting clients for admissions, discharges, and appointments, and collecting/delivering external appointment documentation and lab specimens. The driver will also engage clients on a peer support level during transport, assist with luggage, and ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and fueled. Additionally, the role includes assisting with custodial and maintenance duties when not actively engaged in transport.

Requirements

Minimum 1-year experience in treatment industry preferred
Current and valid state-issued driver's license
Strong communication and time-management skills
Dignified, respectable character which reflects recovery principles
Extensive knowledge of all motor vehicle laws

High School diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities
