About The Position

The Budd Group, a leading Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) pioneer, is seeking an energetic, proactive, and highly communicative Facility Director to oversee one of Virginia’s premier historic boarding schools. Come build a community with us. The Budd Group is a Christian, God-honoring company built on a foundation of faith, integrity, and hard work. • Strong background in general facility maintenance (HVAC, boilers, plumbing, or electrical)
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven supervisory experience managing diverse teams.
  • A solid technical understanding of facility maintenance (HVAC or boiler knowledge highly preferred).
  • Exceptional communication skills—you believe in "over-communicating" so your client and team are always aligned.
  • A desire to be active and visible on campus—this is a walking, engaging leadership role, not a desk job.
  • Local proximity to the Lynchburg area to handle campus operational needs.
