About The Position

The Facility Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility. This includes cleaning offices, common areas, restrooms, and production areas. The role also involves handling waste disposal, operating cleaning equipment, and performing non-routine cleaning tasks. Safety and adherence to company policies are paramount in all activities. The custodian will also promote plant goals related to safety, housekeeping, quality, GMP, and ISO.

Requirements

Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

Clean offices, pick up recycle materials and empty trash.
Keep office floors clean, i.e. sweeping and mopping.
Maintain cleanliness of canteen, i.e. wipe & clean tables, floors and around machines and storage bins.
Clean refrigerators and dispose of old or spoiled food.
Maintain cleanliness of conference rooms, training room, entrances, hallways and immediate exterior of employee and visitor entrances.
Clean and maintain restroom facilities throughout the plant including supplies.
Handle and properly dispose of BBP per Berry policy.
Run floor scrubber when needed.
Non-routine cleaning such as duct work, surge bin room and overhead areas.
Perform all activities safely and per company policy.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Promote plant goals such as Safety/Housekeeping, Quality, GMP, and ISO.
