Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required, Field of Study: Accounting or Business Administration.
CPA Designation
3-5 years' progressive experience in accounting preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Cost account background in manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to travel domestically, approximately 10% of the time.
Regular and punctual attendance is required.
Advanced Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience with SAP and CoPilot would be an asset

Responsibilities

Work with operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, or maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Present periodic divisional financial reports (including the finances and profitability of the division and assets) to Executive Management.
Manage general ledger and entries for the facility.
Coordinate and work closely with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for division.
Participate in development of budget; maintain and analyze budget, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
Possess acute knowledge of divisional business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses.
Represent Company during audits and before taxing authorities.
Inventory real property and equipment, recording information such as the description, value, and location of property.
Assist with computation of taxes owed, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
Provide support to AGI Legal Counsel as required.
Follow AGI’s Code of Business Ethics and related compliance policies.
