As a Facility Cleaner you will ensure common areas of the manufacturing facility and warehouse utilized daily are cleaned and sanitized within Good Manufacturing Practices. This role involves performing daily cleaning of various areas including production, lab, warehouse, office, and washroom areas according to the Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Daily upkeep includes general areas such as dusting, window cleaning, and polishing of fixtures. The position also manages customer requests for cleaning, waste disposal, moving, and other miscellaneous facility requests in a timely manner. Additionally, the role is responsible for waste disposal and recycling services, accurately signing Good Manufacturing Practices cleaning records and documentation, and ensuring regular replenishment of facility dispensers for paper, soap, and production garments. Maintaining an inventory of all cleaning and maintenance supplies is also a key function. The Facility Cleaner II will lead and complete facility projects such as stripping and waxing floors, and cleaning air diffusers and exhaust grills. Handling the disposal of waste from dust collectors, maintaining a safe working environment, and reporting potential hazards are also essential duties. The role may require alternating or rotating shift work as needed.
