About The Position

The Facility Bus Driver is responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods, materials, or passengers within a transportation system. This includes ensuring the timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery of shipments or transportation services. Persimmon Ridge Rehabilitation Centre is a skilled nursing facility located in Portland, Indiana. Persimmon Ridge Rehabilitation Centre is seeking a Facility Bus Driver to become a part of our team where our primary goal is to provide exceptional care for our residents.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Must possess a valid driver license
Must have an excellent driving record
Knowledge of laws regarding passenger safety

Nice To Haves

Experience preferred with driving large vehicles, such as vans or small buses
CNA highly preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain preventive vehicle maintenance
Complete all appropriate paperwork on a timely basis
Keep open communications with Social Service regarding scheduled appointments and scheduled changes
Maintain residence safety according to company policy during transport
Communicate any medical information obtained during resident’s appointment to Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing and/or charge nurse
Complete other necessary duties as assigned as time allows
